The Finnish rock band Oliver from Virrat was getting ready for the release of the album 'Mua et koskaan saa' and it was about time to shoot some promo photos for the new album. The photos had to reflect the warmth of a small town and the main street of the town of Virrat was to be clearly shown in the photos. In addition, the album sleeves had to include the Oliver-sofa and Oliver-TV, which both were known from the bands gigs.

Most of the shots were taken in the middle of Virtaintie (Virrat road) which is the main street running across town. Naturally, the only time of day possible to do the shoot without traffic in the way was at night, so the shoot began at 4 AM. The local fire department was there along with the crew and the band, to soak the band with artificial rain for a single cover.

The sleeve photos were taken around the town for which the sofa and the TV had to be lugged around. And the sofa wasn't light.

All photos were taken with Canon EOS 30D camera.
