Blackstar Halo is getting close to releasing their album 'Illuminated' and to help promote it, we made a trailer using material from the kick-ass music video.

An anti-violence commercial campaign consisting of 4 spots was released yesterday along with a corroborating website. Obscure produced the spots and showcases them with a bonus; an extended version of one of them.
In other news, Kun Liikun (When I Move), the stunning short documentary by Ville Salminen has yet again been honored with two festival official selections; Tampere Film Festival and Soul 4 Reel Film Festival in Washington DC, USA. The latter will also feature Jermaine's Don't Be A Stranger in their music video competition! Both festivals are held in March 2010.

Tomorrow, on the 18th of January, the Finnish national broadcasting company YLE TV1 will premiere Naisia kaupungilla, a four part tv-series about the life of four women. Ville Salminen of Obscure Entertainment was hired to take promotional and production photos during the shoot in the spring of 2009.
Also, a few older promo photo projects have been added to the page; in no specific order, they are Urbi&, Primago Oy, Oliver, Road Dream and TAKK.

Obscure.fi has gone through a major layout update to back up some nifty new stuff that's come up. From now on, the site will have much more in-depth info on our projects and services. The separate sections on projects, personnel and rentals are definitely all worth a look!

Starting today and rolling through all of December 2009, the Finnish tv-channel Nelonen will show Obscure Entertainment produced Lego-animations as intros and outros for commercial breaks! The spots were directed and shot by Hannu Haapasalo and Jouko Piipponen.

A big update! First of all, the promotional music video for Pedro's Heavy Gentlemen, called Palvova Varjosi has been released and can be viewed on the website for Mika Kaurismäki's upcoming feature Haarautuvan Rakkauden Talo.
